Woo Hoo! Bleecker Street Vintage has a cause for celebration! There are market dates on the blog! If you look to the right you'll be able to see them. The first market will be at the Bend & Snap market on Feb 26, so please come on down and introduce yourself and have a chat to me about what vintage you'd like to see at my stall.

At work these past few days

It's been busy at Bleecker Street Vintage this week! Exciting new markets around Melbourne have been booked! Vintage stock has arrived and repairs to garments are being done.

In fact, as this post is being typed two 1950's dresses and one modern french dress are being dyed a pretty wine colour. Too bad the before shots were forgotten about! Dying fabric and clothes can be tricky as it's vital to get an even colour but if it's successful the garments are visually stunning in their 'second life'.


Also this week, photos of hats and craft have been taken in preparation for the webshop. Hopefully by the end of the week there'll be a few items there.

 Camberwell market is always good for photography and for bargains for the house! Here a few things that caught my eye today.

Stamp Help

Well, with a few markets coming up I need to think about packaging and business cards. I want something simple, but at the same time something that captures attention. I've come up with a design and have it on this post. Let me know what you think (If there is anyone reading this blog at such an early stage)

 I wanted something that was a little off balance, but didn't look 'irritating' if you know what I mean. Now keep in mind I have NO graphic design experience, so if it looks completely 'wrong', then that is why.
